The bridal Consultant was formed in 2003 by Lisa Burton, the idea developed after lisa planned her own wedding while holding down a very demanding job, she realised just like many that there isn't enough time in the day to take on another full time job, which is really what planning a wedding could be compared to. However rather than planning weddings in the uk, lisa wanted to incorporate her love for travelling with the new business and decided to work in the expanding market of weddings abroad.

Working on cruise ships opened her eyes to the conveyorbelt type of wedding, and lisa quickly realized that couples choosing to get married abroad were not receiving the type of service they deserved. 'their weddings should be just as unique and special as those couples getting married here in the UK, and this is the principle on which The Bridal Consultant was born.'

The Bridal Consultant is a full wedding planning service: we are able to guide you through all stages of the wedding planning process.

•  One point of contact from day one - you will be assigned a dedicated wedding planner and will be given their direct line and mobile number.

•  UK based offices with professional weddings planners in each location – with us you don't have to worry about the expense of phoning abroad, language barriers and time zones, all the planning and legal work is administered in the UK with our professional wedding planners, so even during peak wedding season you will receive swift answers to any queries.

•  Full support with all legal work – we will provide you with the correct, up to date information from day one, if requirements change you will be the first to know! we will provide time lines and full instructions of what to do when and where, we provide templates for declarations, help with translation and we'll even send your documents to the Foreign Commissioners Office for you. all of our client's legal work is agreed with the local authorities prior to arrival in resort and, if you follow our advice and guidance, there will be no last minute, unwelcome surprises.

•  A guaranteed time, place and date for your wedding where-ever possible. (The wedding date and ceremony location are always guaranteed, the ceremony time may have to be advised later, dependent on the regulations at the destination).

The addition of Turkey Villas
Earlier this year we visited Turkey to view some new wedding venues, partly to find a replacement for the sad loss of the White Dolphin last year, one of our favourite wedding venues when it became an exclusive boutique hotel, and also to search for new exclusive venues for people wanting complete privacy for their big day.
We're excited to announce that Red Island off the coast of Fethiye, more than makes up for the loss of the White Dolphin, this luxury restaurant offers privacy and exclusivity for your wedding whilst offering some of the most scenic views around and some off the best cuisine in Fethiye.
We're also excited to introduce our luxury hideaway wedding villas, our first collection features villas in both Kayakoy and Marmaris, well off the beaten track each one is unique and offers the style, privacy, luxury and quality that couples expect and deserve for their wedding abroad.
