st george's chapel, cyprus

st. george's chapel is an extremely popular venue for religious weddings. the beautiful chapel, complete with stunning frescoes, offers marriage services to both anglican and catholic denominations.

please note that because of the entrance steps the chapel could be unsuitable for people with walking difficulties, ayia kyriaki church is more accessible.

as from 2008 anglican weddings apart from the two designated churches i.e. ayia kyriaki (monday & tuesday) and st. george (wednesday, thursday and friday)can also now take place outside at any venue i.e gardens, by the beach or on a terrace. religous weddings now also take place all year round, including winter months of november to march.
