As from 2008 Anglican weddings apart from the two designated churches i.e. Ayia Kyriaki (Monday & Tuesday) and St. George (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)can also now take place outside at any venue i.e gardens, by the beach or on a terrace. Religous weddings now also take place all year round, including winter months of November to March.
